Weir made several key saves as Edinburgh City held off Brora Rangers for a 2-0 home-leg victory which saw them secure their place in the SPFL with a 3-1 aggregate win.
DEF – Billy Koumetio (Dundee)
The big defender once again impressed at the back for Steven Pressley's men as they ended their 2025/26 William Hill Premiership campaign with a 3-2 win over Aberdeen, a result which moved them into eighth in the final league table.
DEF – Alex Gogic (St Mirren)
Gogic was his side's stand-out player as St Mirren prepared for their two-legged battle with Partick Thistle to preserve their Premiership status with a 1-1 draw with Dundee United.
DEF – Liam Scales (Celtic)
The centre-back put in a thoroughly impressive performance as Celtic managed to nab the William Hill Premiership crown from Hearts with a 3-1 triumph at Celtic Park on the last day of the season.
MID – Lewis Stewart (Alloa Athletic)
Alloa may have defeated Stenhousemuir 1-0 but it wasn't enough as the Warriors won out 3-2 on aggregate in the William Hill Championship play-off final. Stewart impressed on the right for the Wasps at Ochilview.
MID – Kyle MacDonald (Hamilton Academical)
Two goals from the midfielder, along with another two from Tony Gallacher, got Accies the result required to stay in William Hill League 1 as they defeated Clyde 4-3 (5-4 on aggregate) in the play-off final.
MID – Lukas Fadinger (Motherwell)
The midfielder excelled and got the only goal of the game as Motherwell beat Hibs at Easter Road to secure European football for next season.
MID – Keir Gilligan (Dundee United)
The 17-year-old made his debut and performed impressively on the left flank for the full 90 minutes as Jim Goodwin's team wrapped up the campaign with a 1-1 draw with St Mirren.
FW – Joe Hugill (Kilmarnock)
The striker netted twice as Killie saw things out in style with a 4-1 away victory at relegated Livingston on Sunday.
FW – Youssef Chermiti (Rangers)
The imposing striker netted three times as Rangers defeated Falkirk 5-2 at the Falkirk Stadium and is this week’s star man.
FW – Alex Samuel (Partick Thistle)
Thistle will contest the William Hill Premiership play-off final with St Mirren after defeating Dunfermline Athletic 2-1 on Friday evening (winning 3-2 on aggregate). Samuel scored one, created the other, and led the line superbly.
