Partick Thistle and St Mirren drew 1-1 in the first leg of the William Hill Premiership play-off final in front of 8,323 fans at Firhill on Thursday night.
Killian Phillips gave Saints the lead with a composed finish in 39 minutes but Aidan Fitzpatrick equalised just after the hour mark for Mark Wilson's men.
The second leg takes place in Paisley on Monday, live on Sky Sports, kick-off 8.00pm, with Thistle seeking promotion and St Mirren aiming to retain their top-flight status.
