St Johnstone recovered from two goals down to beat Ayr United 4-2 this evening and move three points clear at the top of the William Hill Championship.
Mark McKenzie and Jamie Murphy gave Scott Brown's side an early advantage but Simo Valakari's men turned things round in the second half.
Matthew Foulds pulled one back then Josh McPake netted a double before Kai Fotheringham added a late fourth goal for the Perth side.
