Bottom club Ross County defeated Partick Thistle 2-0 at the Global Energy Stadium in Friday's William Hill Championship fixture.
Jay Henderson opened the scoring after just 20 seconds and Henderson struck again in the 10th minute to seal the victory.
Stuart Kettlewell's side are now just two points behind ninth-placed Queen's Park while the Jags stay five points behind leaders St Johnstone.
