Heart of Midlothian Celtic William Hill Premiership

Premiership preview

Huge night ahead in the title race

There's a massive evening of football ahead in the William Hill Premiership on Wednesday as a thrilling title race nears a conclusion.

With two fixture rounds of the 2025/26 campaign remaining, Heart of Midlothian hold a one-point lead over Celtic, who they face at Parkhead on Saturday.

Derek McInnes' side take on Falkirk at Tynecastle tonight while Martin O'Neill's men travel to Fir Park to play Motherwell. Both matches are live on Sky Sports, kick-off 8.00pm.

Hearts are chasing a first top-flight title since 1959/60 and could even be crowned champions this evening but that would require them to beat Falkirk and for Celtic to lose.

Any other combination of results means the race will go down to the final day on Saturday, with that match live on Sky Sports at 12.30pm.

The leaders are unbeaten at Tynecastle in the Premiership this season while the reigning champions head for Fir Park on the back of an Old Firm victory.

Tonight's other William Hill Premiership game sees third-placed Rangers take on Hibernian at Ibrox, kick-off 8.00pm.
