Ahead of Sunday's 2025/26 Premier Sports Cup Final, we have compiled the following important information and guidance.
We look forward to welcoming supporters from St. Mirren and Celtic to Barclays Hampden for the match and want everyone attending to enjoy what promises to be a fantastic occasion in the right spirit.
The area around Barclays Hampden is a residential area. Please respect our neighbours when travelling to and from the game.
In recent weeks, there have been several pyrotechnic-related incidents at grounds across Scotland, which the SPFL is currently investigating. The SPFL would like to remind both sets of supporters that the use of pyrotechnics is illegal and poses clear dangers and health and safety risks to fellow supporters, players and those working at matches.
A suspended disciplinary sanction remains in place for Celtic, as a result of large scale, organised pyrotechnic activity at last season’s Premier Sports Cup semi-final, meaning that any further repeat of such activity will result in an automatic reduction of 800 tickets for the club’s next SPFL match at Barclays Hampden.
The safety, security and enjoyment of tens of thousands of fans who will fill the National Stadium is paramount and there will be a range of steps put in place to help identify anyone who transgresses, including additional security measures and CCTV surveillance.
We are grateful to the overwhelming majority of fans who support their team passionately and responsibly and wish both sides the very best of luck for Sunday’s showpiece game.
