Premier Sports Cup: Fan Information

A guide to this weekend's semi-finals

Ahead of this weekend's Premier Sports Semi Finals, supporters are asked to note the following important information and guidance.

The Scottish Professional Football League calls on supporters to enjoy the showpiece occasions in a safe and responsible manner. The area around Hampden Park is a residential area. Please respect our neighbours when travelling to and from the game.

We appeal to fans of all four participating clubs to enjoy the matchday experience at the National Stadium but to do so in a manner that does not endanger the safety of their fellow supporters, or that has the potential to disrupt the matches themselves.

The use of pyrotechnics is illegal. That message has been reiterated in the strongest possible terms by the police and football safety authorities, and reinforced by the SPFL and Scottish FA, during operational meetings with the participating clubs this week.

The safety, security and enjoyment of tens of thousands of fans who will fill the National Stadium this weekend is paramount and there will be a range of steps put in place to help identify anyone who transgresses, including additional security measures and CCTV surveillance.

Supporter Information

  • Please arrive early to avoid queueing on entry - turnstiles will open 90 minutes before kick off
  • Please ensure you have downloaded the latest version of the Hampen Park Tickets App. Here is a full guide to using the app and entering the stadium
  • Enhanced searching will be in place at the turnstiles and we ask all supporters to please cooperate with stewards and police.
  • Supporters are reminded that the use of pyrotechnics and smoke devices is illegal and dangerous, additional measures will be in place to detect pyrotechnics and other illegal items
  • Bags and person searches will be conducted at the turnstiles. No bags larger than A4 to be brought to the stadium.
  • Hampden is now a cashless stadium at all kiosks and in all hospitality areas, so you will need to use a credit or debit card to make any purchase within the stadium

Transport Information

If you are travelling by train then please check the latest information through ScotRail.

To support travel to and from the matches, ScotRail has confirmed it will run extra services and operate trains with additional carriages before and after both games.

St Mirren supporters will travel to and from the match on services via Mount Florida, while Motherwell fans will travel to and from the stadium via Kings Park.

Fans heading to Hampden should travel early and allow extra time as queuing systems will be in place at Glasgow Central before the match, and at Mount Florida and Kings Park afterwards.

On Sunday, Rangers supporters are advised to travel to Mount Florida while Celtic fans should go to Kings Park.

Ticket Information

There has been a recent update on the Hampden Ticket App therefore, each supporter should update their app if not already done so, to receive their ticket.

Here is a full guide to using the app and ensuring you gain entry to the stadium.
