October award for Gibson

Annan Athletic player/manager Wullie Gibson has been voted Scottish League 2 Glen's Manager of the Month for October.

The Galabankies ended the month on a six-match unbeaten run of five wins and a draw across all competitions, including a win at Stranraer and a draw with Stirling Albion.

Annan also beat Hamilton Accies in the KDM Evolution Trophy and knocked Clyde out of the Scottish Cup, with Gibson scoring a last-minute winner.

Gobson said: “I am delighted to be named League 2 Glen’s Manager of the Month for October. A big thanks go to my players and staff as it is very much a reflection on how hard everyone has worked and how well we’ve done in recent games.”
