Kilmarnock retain Premiership status

Kilmarnock have secured their place in the William Hill Premiership for next season after Joe Hughill's late double helped them beat Dundee 3-1 at Rugby Park.

St Mirren will now face the play-offs despite winning 2-0 against Aberdeen at Pittodrie. Dundee United and Livingston drew 0-0 in the other William Hill Premiership game at Tannadice.

Dunfermline Athletic and Partick Thistle drew 1-1 in the first leg of the Premiership play-off semi-final with the return game at Firhill on Friday, live on BBC Scotland at 7.45pm.

It was also 1-1 between Clyde and Hamilton Accies in the first leg of the League 1 play-off final. The second leg is at Broadwood on Friday, live on BBC ALBA at 7.45pm.
