Heart of Midlothian boss replaces Danny Röhl

Derek McInnes is the new manager of Rangers, replacing Danny Röhl.

Röhl departed Ibrox for RB Salzburg with Rangers turning to the Heart of Midlothian head coach to take charge of the Light Blues.

McInnes guided Hearts to second spot in last season’s William Hill Premiership, losing out on the title in a final day defeat to Celtic.

The 54-year-old, who played for Rangers, has managed St. Johnstone, Bristol City, Aberdeen, Kilmarnock before Hearts
