Maeda double helps secure Old Firm victory

Celtic beat Rangers 3-1 at Parkhead on Sunday afternoon to close the gap on William Hill Premiership leaders Hearts to one point.

Mikey Moore gave the visitors an early lead but Hyunjun Yang equalised midway through the first half for Martin O'Neill's men.

Daizen Maeda made it 2-1 early in the second period and the Japan forward sealed the win in 57 minutes with a stunning overhead kick.

Celtic go to Motherwell on Wednesday while Hearts host Falkirk, live on Sky Sports, before the title rivals clash in Glasgow on Saturday.
